lurchergrrl 1,441
I used to sit in my office on the 23rd floor of a tower watching Peregrine falcons catch and eat pigeons on the roofs of surrounding buildings. Might not seem like much to folks here but it was a big deal living in the heart of the city and getting to enjoy such a wild sight.

Leewx 2
My granda once swore blindly that a stag was in our back garden early one morning. He said it cleared our fence into the neighbors yard and off it went. We lived in the middle of a pretty big town. Needless to say no one believed him, until lunch time when it was on the local radio that one had to be caught by the local cops just down the road from us. We all thought he was still pissed from the night before

morton 5,368
People who hunt accept the final outcome when there is ultimately the death of an animal,i feel most people will agree that death should be swift and painless if possible. To see an animal in obvious distress, knowing with the injuries it has sustained will lead to a slow, miserable end,is neither funny or amusing.Getting satisfaction from the hunt and kill is totally different.IMO.
