Urghhh!

Hello all!Been having lovely days out over the last few weeks catching enough rabbits for me and the ferrets plus a few surplus for freinds and family,today I got back and was skinning my catch and on the rabbit found a sort of milky,creamy,waxy looking substance :icon_eek: any ideas guys?

Tape worm cysts would be my guess without seeing a picture :thumbs:

Could be a pocket of pus from an abscess or old injury. I've found that from time to time, and also when its all dried up and goes like yellow cottage cheese: just sitting there in a muscle or just beneath the skin: not very pleasant.

 

Tapeworm cysts are translucent, filled with clear liquid and what look like grains of rice: those are the egg sacs.

I think this was the case Skycat,it was between the muscle and the skin on the back leg.
