was at work allday and what a nice day to

So i rushed home grabed the gear well my gun (all the gear i have ) and off to the local permission

Got there about 430PM as was slow day at work and we finished early knowing i only had 1 hour of light

i ran cross the first two fields as there was no rabbits there got two the 3rd and look over the heg line to see my first rabbit happy sitting there.

Had to kreep round to the gate to get a clear shot could only take a standing shot but the shot was true and the first was in the bag

Had a quick scan of the field to see a rabbit about 50 meter away (out of my range) so i stalk close to about 30 meter and got socked as was on all 4s and the field was boggey

first shot i missed land short of the target so gave it 1.5 hold over and the second hit perfect

was a bit serprised that i had to give hold over at 30 meters but didn't think about it to much.

On going to get my kill found out why it was over 45 meters away and it was a hair and dam it was on the large size

strange how the fading light plays trick on the eyes would of never taken that shot if i had know the distance

but real pleazed tho

 

PS

also dose anyone no a good gun mounted light for lamping rabbits as it get dark early now and i hunt alone

also what sort of cost
