Deer, hare skins

I have a few skins in the freezer at the moment from a few road kills i have found as i just can't throw them away as i know they can be put into use, what i need to know is how i go about turning them into rugs or whether they're are people out there who buy them off of you, any help or advice would be highly apprieciated.

It might be worth asking at the local slaughterhouse, or maybe even game dealer, where they sell their skins. I suspect having frozen them may be a problem. I know the first stage is to lay out and salt the flesh side, but not sure what comes after that.

Thanks all, i have looked on line and it sounds like far too much effort if im brutally honest! But i have found someone who will buy them, they use the skins for backgrounds in photo shoots.

pin hide to board very tight, use sharp knife to scrape flesh off, then microwave warm sheep brain to cure. ( no let wifey see this, she kill! )Just rub brain in to hide, thats it . Get sheep skull from abatoir, will do many many skin.

no, no, is just sheep have more brain ! not much clever , just more volume. deer, rabbit ok also, but very small amount.
