is it better to use hemp or nylon nets?

Spun Poly,Most "Hemp" nets are not even Hemp they are a mixture of Sisal and Flax.

Hemp has been a mix of flax and sisal for years now.Far too many people still prefer hemp just to write it off and nothing beats hemp in the field ,that's a plain fact, BUT it must be dried after use or you'll end up with a collection of rings, drawstrings and rotten netting . I like spun poly but I don't think it's the wonder material it's made out to be.....certainly no better than spun nylon. Nowadays nets are made from all sorts of materials and I think you've got to go a long way to beat a good old fashioned heavy (10 or 12Z)nylon twine

Do your money a favour and just get some nylon 10oz of Bryn mine have caught 100% in the last couple of visits.

Tried some of them Spun Poly but, i always put my hand in the Net Bag and get out the 10z with nice heavy Rings....... i cant fault the 10z, they are a pleasure to use
