I dont want to part with him but my job is building hotels and travel lodges and there isnt any call for those in Barnsley. Its all going to be London, Edinburgh, Glasgow etc which means the girlfriend is lumped with 5 dogs to walk all week and although Jack is very obedient with me he doesnt listen to her which results in him going off after scents and she cant get him back. She is now keeping him on the lead all week but its not enough exercise for him and I really want to do what is best for him in the long run.

He is now sold subject to him being collected tomorrow on the understanding that if things dont work out he comes back to us and we try again.

Thanks for all the replies there were some cracking offers of homes for him but fingers crossed I have picked the right one.

He looks a very nice dog mate, hope he's sorted and has a long and happy life, can't say I'm not disappointed, but so long as you and the dog are happy that's the main thing. I wish him and the new owner luck, regards Mike.

Cracking GWP i kept going back and forth looking at him. I lost my GWP of 13yrs last year, and i so wanted your dog ( but i got a few bitches here and wouldn't be fair on the dog when they broke down ) And thats if i'd have been choosen

Hope the new owner gets on with him and then you feel you have made the right decision

keep us informed on his progress

I will be looking for a GWP bitch pup after the new year hopefully

Bry
