Guest MOLLY
Little tip for you Wardman, if you have never had your feet run over..then perhaps it might be a good position to site a terrier. Oneredtrim. @ Trim Dont get me wrong David, ive got loads of compassion for the dog. If the guy had come on and said something like..."i normally keep him on the lead but since it was 6am, i though no-one would be around" id understand, we've all made mistakes like that . But blameing someone else for his own mistake, then taking umbrage with Border terrier for pointing it out, i thought id clear the matter up with the law as it stands . MOLL. Quote Link to post

targa 5
Wardman, be happy that the smackhead not broke a ligament, it cost you more then £800, maybe £8000 Think there's a law that says your responsible for what you do on the street, but I feel sorry for the dog. Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Dogs off leads, are an accident waiting to happen, no dog is 100% steady to all things, i,m sorry for your troubles, and i hope your dog gets better, but if it had been on a lead, it wouldnt have happened would it? SPONGEBOB 0
is the lad on the bike known to you or is it just cause he was out at 6am that leads you to believe he was a smack head? were was your dog when he was hit, walking to heel, running on abit or in the road? ALL dogs must be kept on a lead/under control AT ALL TIMES when in a public place, like it or not thems the laws. Quote Link to post
loftmonkey 2
put the dog on a fecking lead Quote Link to post
Nell 1
1. Sorry to hear about the dog, 'tis a shame! 2. How do you know the lad is a smackhead and not just some one on his way to work?? 3. did the bike rider even see the dog? 6 in the morning is a very dark time of day!! 4. if the dog needs to run, then up and down the pavement isn't the best place in the world for it to do it, is it? 5. Could the dog not have been at fault for running into the bike? 6. I'm not jumping on the "put the dog on a lead" bandwagon, due to the fact that I never have my dogs on a lead in/around the house, in fact they all run loose most of the time, but if it had been one of my dogs, I would have been really pissed off initially, but surely it was an accident?? I mean, the lad at least offered his dad an explination! He didn't just ride off!!! JMHO! Quote Link to post
sureshot 0
if you no the guy and he rides that way most mornings get some mates go kick sh!t out of him and get him to pay for the vet bill Quote Link to post
