My buddy took the fox ( head shot ) at 50yds whilst we was out lamping for bunnies , first one with me new rifle too jammy bugger :laugh: But if am targeting foxes i usually take something a bit bigger like the 6PPC or the 6.5-284 :blink: .

All the best...........

tell me about it (skinning) took me fecking ages :laugh: Freezers nice and full though and so is my belly :D:D .

As for ammo tried the hornady 17 grain v-max / remington 17 grain v-max , gun favors hornady :) also tried cci 17 grain TNT ( not bad) and the big surprise was the hornady 20 grain XTPs - gun loved them :D

Dont mind the little noise because richocets are a thing of the past and the bunnies are still good to eat and dumps them big time with flat shooting out to 100yds!!!

Anyway HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all and your families :drink::drink:

Regards.........

VARMINTER.................. :D:D

Nice result, Sold my 17 recently same model as yours, lovely gun but needed space in the cabinets 22 did one thing, 22-250 did the next and really had to make some space, otherwise it would still be there. Got to admit though there is still a space on my ticket, maybe i should consider buying another cabinet!:drink:
