Phantom 631
Figured I'd put this up in here rather than the sale section as I'd like it to go to another airgunner (although they are FA rated I believe) I always told myself I would not part with this, but alas I have to give in and part with my beloved 3-9x56 AO scope It was made in the 's and although not the Carl Ziess of optics its bloody good I used it on my S200 until I went mildots! It always provided me with a great low light image and although its got a 30/30 ret its a damn good low lighter Turrets are finger adjustable, none of this 'coin needed' malarky. Once set at your desired zero, its easy to turn the screw lift and place the '0' against the mark so you will always have a reference point. I found that this scope hold's zero much better than some of the cheaper "Modern" scopes I've used. The last one of these that I saw sold went for £ on airgunbbs last year. Of course I'm after as much as possible but you may either reply on thread or via PM if you wish to make an offer. I am not expecting the same as the one on agbbs! I'll give it a few days and then if no offers of reasonable value have been made, its off onto eBay. Here's the pix The "WideScreen TV" sight image is especially usefull in low light for quicker target aquasition. I'll leave you to ponder what you think its worth and whether you think you would like to own it Phantom Edited October 30, 2010 by Phantom Quote Link to post
kingoftoosh 15
Hi Tony I'm after a new scope, but unfortunately i want to try a milldot too.Using a bushnell sportsman 3x12 x40 ao i believe. Did you find the milldots help you improve your shooting and with holdover and adjusting for wind etc. Zini recommended a hawkwe one for about 50 odd quid, will need to dig up that post. Good luck wie the sale buddy Quote Link to post
Buster321c 1,010
Hiya Tony , decent scope there mate , just the type of thing i`de bang on any of my guns for mooching Its kinda akin to the Optima Moonlighter . As said , good `fast` lens ( good for gathering light in low light conditionds ) so if any of you newish arirgunners are sfter a decent buy , this is the one . I`m after a scope myself for my MPR FT , but im after a higher mag, something up to at least 24 , or ide take it myself . Good luck Bud , Buster . silentshot1 206
I LOVE wide screen scopes, I have the exact same one on my HW77, and it's an awesome bit of kit! Almost indestructable and holds zero like nothing else! The wide screen really adds to fast target aquisition in any light, as you can see more through it! Good luck with the sale, I might even make a bid if I can scratch enough pennies together out of the tumble dryer filter! Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Nice sight you've got there, Tony. I had one many moons ago on an HW80 and was totaly reliable and just a really good scope, wish I'd kept it.... Good luck with the sale. Cheers. Quote Link to post
