Sky box

i think my sky box is it will just stay in stanby and won't come out of it any ideas on how to fix it thanks

Have you tried unplugging it, wait a min then try again?

could it be your remote? check the batterys.

 

id reboot it as well for 30 seconds

 

if that fails... its f****d

Have you tried pressing the button on the box ??

it is a normal sky box Ive tried unplugging it and its not the batteries in the remote as i have tried that i i don't have a clue whats up with it

Switch it off at mains no lights on box

press and hold in the back up button

keep back up button pressed in and switch power on

1 red light will come on box straight away hold button in till 3 or 4 lights come on box and message comes on tv

 

downloading software this will take upto 10 minutes

after message disappears and lights go out leace box for a few minutes then try get it on then (green light ) if green light doesnt come on your box if buggered

 

need to replace box or if warrenty a service call

i think it is nearly 2 year old but it still downloading sowtware hopefully will sort it out
