We have a young cross who's training needs a little assistance. What do we think of training collars? the good the bad and has anybody got one for sale.

Not sure on the shock collars, but the spray and or bleep collars i would be happy to use, unless you know otherwise.

Id say shock collars can turn out to be very effective but then again in another way can go totally in the wrong direction. It all depends what your using them for. What seems to be the problem as theres several techniques to try first, as really a shock collar is last resort for some people. but each to their own. some dogs i do agree do need to have the shock collar first off especially if its strong headed. some dogs will put them selves through all the pain you throw at them, cause in their mind theyre gonna do and have what they want. try alternative methods first. if your not sure what, just put it on your post what the problems are im sure there will be some people on here who have had similar problems and can help. im not sayin every technique works, its 50/50 it could work for some but for others not! :o)
