they look very natural with the grass coming through the side and floor ,

do you mesh the floor or leave it as they dont like walking on it do they ,

i bought two off bay but too bright so i sand blasted them also changed the trip mechanism from peddle to pulley type

we only usually catch them when the weathers hard and cubs are daft enough to go in

whats your secret in them as you catch alot more than us

we bait them mostly with feathered bait as i think its more of a natural food source around us

cheers for any commments

bait has to be rotting to pull them in, smellier the better, I normally catch with half a rabbit thats at least 2 weeks old, I normal just shuffle the traps into the dirt, they still have mesh floor showing sometimes, but still catch,

yea the floor is meshed mate all our traps are bedded in and left there to weather for a good few months before we do anything with them.all our traps where peddle and we changed them to pull device much easier.as bait concerned we do a lot of damage on white chickens.have caught them on ducks, pheasants ,wood pigeon.etc.another good bait is remains of your sunday chicken.
