Cheers guys , i have the mountings to fit my clu lite lazerlite but find that a bit over the top on the gun . i did make one using 2AA led maglite with a pressure switch and a figure of 8 mounting only this was not bright enough !

ive now found perfect 1 , an led torch from tesco for a fiver it takes C size batteries , and as a realy good beam upto around 50/ 60 yards ,found some deben filters that fitted it, just cant get a proper mounting . yet . so insulating tape it is for now.

i just realy not up for paying 60 odd quid for one of them LEDRAY things , aint saying they dont work just seems expensive .

A friend of mine had one of those C cell torches.

He used a couple of plastic pipe clips turned flat side together with a couple of dowlings so it would hold the torch onto his 30mm tube scope.

Worked perfectly well until he got his Clulight.

I'll stick with my UltraFire 300 that I got after I tried using the double AA Tesco torch, looked great worked great in a built up area but out in the field it was a dismal failure:thumbdown:

were i do most of my shooting after dark there a bit shy of the lamp , after 1 walk round with the lazerlite they disappaer for the night . most stuff i shoot is between 20 and 45 yards this is the best 1 ive found so far mate , but any other situation i wouldnt be without the lazerlite . my mates got a deben tracer , and that aint bad to honest.
