optima scopes

hi guys, in typical wurz fashion i've just blagged an optima 3-9x56 scope and i'm wondering if anybody knows how much its worth? as it aint got mil dots i cant see me using it in the near future(das kraut's set up just right with the game king) but it'd make a good lamping scope so maybe it'll go on the .20rapid or could it mean a .177 purchase? well, it is nearly christmas...

That was the old Super Moonlighter way back when and it was a very good quality bit of kit made for airguns. Made in Japan to a very high standard.

Hi,

 

I have an Optima Moonlighter which is 3-9x45 - must be 27 years old and still as good as the day I got it. I have been using it very successfully on my AA S510 until 2 months ago when I upgraded to a Hawke Nite-Eye 4-16x50 SR6 IR AO which I am very pleased with. I hope it serves me as well at the Moonlighter.
