Making a slip

I'm new to lamping, been doing some daytime work for a few years nothing serious.

 

Just got a new bitch, 11mth now and about to start her on the lamp,

 

How do you make a slip lead guys??

do,nt spend any money 1,all i do is your normal nylon leads put it trough the coller keep the catch between your fingers and the loop the same ,just remember to let the loop go trough the collar ,

i cut the catch off an old lead and use that. atb

depends on if the dog pulls on lead when out if not an old peice of string tie a loop in the end for your hand to go through leave the other end as normal and there you go (easy). if the dog does pull do the same but with summat abit bigger and stronger maybe some rope otherwise you will end up cut 'n' stinging fingers or wrist.

I use bailer twine, dont matter if you lose it in the heat of the moment then.
