I saw this same interview a couple of years ago so I think they might of scraped the idea because in his atobiography he says they were making the film then and its never been released so dont think its gonna happen but if it does it will be a bellter. I reckon ray winston to play len

theres a second part to it and it shows you the fella whos playing him cant remember his name but the director says hes an unknown

They tried years ago but couldn't get the funding or something along those lines, That was when Craig Fairbrass was supposed to be the lead role. I personally think Jason Statham would play him very well, I also think he's got a look of Lenny, But to be honest he's played some shit roles too. Either way it should make a good film

i think this film should have been done along time ago,,, i mean they did a film about charles bronson that wasa load of shit, about a man being inside all his life

 

i think lenny wanted fairbrass to do it, and hes a big lump as well. think stathum is to small, but who knows he may do it well

I dont think any of the well known actors could play the part well enough and to be honest i reckon it would be a dissapointment and not show Lenny in a good light.To find an actor with his aggression,size and intensity will be a challenge to any film director.

Stathams too small.Winstones too out of shape.Kemps too dopey......Craig Fairbrass is possibly the only one he played Pat Tate very well in that footsoldiers film.

Cant see as theres much to say about a bloke who basically hurt people for a living and from what I have read in his own words, enjoyed it!

 

And before anyone gets pissy, I didnt know the bloke and he may have been a regular Mother Teresa, but I am just going on the known facts

Fair point but there has been alot of good films about violence and hurting people
