Haha, good question! I'm not voting, because I can't say for a fact that it works, but it's something that I always do, and always have done.

 

The amount of swarf that gets left behind in the water when I wash my pellets is enough to convince me to keep doing it.

 

I'd be interested to hear what others think though- and what lubes you use. Personally, for my precharged guns, I use 2 or 3 drops of 3in1 type oil per tin, and for my springer, a light spray of wax based furniture polish.

Using lube may make a small difference in accuracy but compared to other variables such as wind, range, and human error I'm sure it's negligible. If it gives you more confidence in your equipment though then it can only be a good thing.

I allways do it . But its no good lubing dirty pellets . I wash , dry and lube every pellet i use , works for me .

Yep....I do.

 

Just makes me feel better.

If you weigh and grade your pellet's your more likely to notice a difference in groups, especialy from a tuned rifle, over longer distances.

it works !! BUT crono after use lol if your gun is already very close the the limit lubing the pellets can push it over my s10 sits at 11.5 with lubed pellets it goes to 11.8 but it defo well worth doing
