anybody use these for fishing, what are the advantages/disadvantages of the dif types prologic/tfgear/shimano etc? cheers

Got the Rapala pro wear ones last year they are very good.

got the trekker ones.you can sip of the bib and make them into trousers

Give the titan ones a try mate they are very good / light / waterproof and tuff

Good for Winter fishing, keeps the small of your back coverd when your kneeling down or are sitting. Don't hang them up by the braces when you get home though, like i did. Stretches the elastic to much and knackers it. Try sitting down in them when you buy them. The lining in the legs of mine is too short and finishes above my knees, so they get cold. Mine are made by Leon Grant, got them through my local tackle shop, so have it's name all over it. Good though. Apart from the lining.
