andyfr1968 772
Help for Hero's is the only charity I'll give to these days. It is our country's shame that our lads and lass's are treated so badly. It's one of the many things at the moment that makes me ashamed of my country. Great Britain, my feckin' arse... SNAP SHOT 194
i was about to go to sleep when i thought i'd take a peek about, Any soldier worth his salt fights for FREEDOM, simple as, A bond is formed for those who have seen the horrors of war and its consequences, The only downfall is that the politicians have lost the meaning of FREEDOM, its all about money now....... Its a fact that some cannot handle the non regimented way of life once they have served their time or hit civi street, like every other way of life there are good and bad soldiers... however no one deserves to be out in the cold in this day and age, especially one willing to pay for FREEDOM with his/her own life, Its a shame the politicians forget so easy the price freedom costs in LIVES and not money.......... SNAP.

Terryorr 27
manxman, what sort of arsehole are you. From your reply, I don,t think you were ever in a fight with your granny. These men and women are Britains Heros. On the Hunting Life, who thinks these men and women are Heroes THE ONLY ASSHOLE IS THE ASSHOLE WHO DELIBRATELY TOOK MY WORDS OUT OF CONTEXT. I want to understand how these blokes can end up in the gutter in the first place, WHATS THE PROCCESS THAT GETS THEM IN THAT POSITION, and it is without Doubt a national disgrace. Apologies manxman, I read your post wrong, I thought you were running these Heroes down. I was obviously wrong. Good Luck

Strong Stuff 2,171
Do you not think the army has a responsibility to those who serve? I do. I also feel we all have a moral obligation to look after those who look after us. Packets of cup a soup on offer in Tesco, 2 packs for £1.50, who can't spare 30 bob to give a homeless ex anything a hot drink? Remember these are NOT the self pitying self abusing dirty smackheads, these are decent men who've been "dumped to the kerb" http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Packet_Soup/Batchelors_Cup_a_Soup_Golden_Vegetable_5_per_pack_104g.html
Terryorr 27
i think it would surprise a good few off here , actually what some of our lads have witnessed and been part of . conditions , lack of proper food , stress ,shock, sleep deprivation all play a part ,not to mention loosing there own. yea some lads cant/dont want to be helped but what about the rest ? goverments a sack of shit what about the lad in the papers , had his leg blew off by IED , just lost his home and benefits .. because he can now walk 400m unassisted .. it makes my blood boil . if the animal who planted the device turned up at dover i dare say as a asylum seeker hed b entitled to benefits . cheers private , ive just blew ya feckin legs off now im gona come and rape your country! This is what fecking annoys me, you are correct mate, send young troops out to be blown to bits and the feckers that do it will get more benifits and pensions than the Heroes from this country, when they come here and start claiming
