Just curiouse to know,if and what kind of dog you'se guy and girls use when ferreting for marking ,chaseing down etc,i use a minature jack russel,18 months old,i know poeple use lurchers to,would appreciate everyones input please!!

collie/grey and a jack russel mate. the terrier is better at marking i think but the lurcher is better allround.

Depends if you want it for catching escapes or marking holes some terriers are brilliant markers better than lurchers but obviously cant run like a lurcher

Are you saying your terrier is a better marker than your lurcher or are you saying that terrier are better for marking than lurcher's , because i for one would disagree as the best marking dog i have seen was a lurcher

have 2 agree with u there mate i have a whippet here and he has a better nose then any terrier.

a marker is always right. coz if it is wrong, then it isnt a marking dog.... so if the terrier is always right, and if the lurcher is always right. They cant be better than one another, they can only be the same .....
