What Lurcher?

hello all. Im Jonny and i have just registered on here. i am looking for a bit of advice. i have quite a lot of rabitting permission and currently have a terrier that marks well, however, i am now looking at the prospect of obtaining a lurcher. i have never owned a lurcher and i am a complete beginner when it comes to them.could anyone point me in the right direction as to what cross you would recommend and why?

Collie x grey would do you well for a first dog,,, depending on the ground a first x would be upto the job.

I would rate collie x greyhound for a first lurcher. Theres good and bad in everything though.

I go for a colliex any day had them for years I got a 4 month Deerhound/Greyhound/Whippet pup tha I be taking Rabbiting next season bred out of two very good Rabbiting dogs

Defo something with collie in it but not a first cross way to brainy will you be lamping or working with ferrets?
