mick01 36
i would like to keep my s410 in the condition i bought it, it will pick up the odd marks but i need to stop being so lazy and learn to strip and maintain it. im shooting more than i used to which is good but with the bad weather coming i will need to look after my kit. i will research the stripping part as i know you have been through all this, but what is the best oil for me to buy? and how to apply? how much to apply? and where to? any advice or help would be massivley appreciated.. thanks in advance Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Best bet is to wipe it down with a dry lint free clothe after each session And then wipe it down with an oily rag, that will help you achieve keeping the gun in tip top condition I wouldn't strip it down unless you really have to (seal blown etc....) Phantom 631
I use a light 3 in one type oil or WD40 sprayed onto the rag. Depending on whats handy. Forgot to say I take the Air cylinder out and do the same with that on the S200. The 400/410 I don't think thats feasable (?) but you can take the stock off and dry and coat the underside of the Air cylinder. Phantom Quote Link to post
