mushroom 12,883
One thing my little Mo doesn't entertain... going to ground even when there are terriers down there she will flit from hole to hole but never make the commitment which in all honesty doesn't bother me The little tw@t frankly and we are talking hypothetical here there are terriers for this job and staffs I would imagine would be better at the end of a dig Quote Link to post

lampinglurcher 36
sorry to hear that, she looks like she could have been useful.. was she young? Quote Link to post
reynard 3
If the man wants to let his staffy have a go, I say let him, too many dogs over the years haven't been given the chance. This is where the hunting instinct is lost, go on lad let the dog have a look at old charlie. If she proves willing, keep trying her and then maybe think of breeding a litter from her. 1 Quote Link to post

Stabs 3
she looks like she was finer built than a pure stafford, stabs, do you think this was an advantage for her? ie, not having a huge chest and head Undoubtedly, when it came to going to ground. She'd pass for a Staff in many eyes until you got your hands on her though and then you could tell with the jacket. Quote Link to post
lampinglurcher 36
wish i could have seen her in the flesh stabs.. here's to many more like her Quote Link to post

Stabs 3
How is she bred if you don’t mind me asking Sam? Your bitch looks a little wider and maybe a bit less leg, but it might just be the photo. Nell had a decent length of leg to her, but she was still only 16†so it was deceptive. She wasn’t fast by any means, but she worked well in cover. I’ll be getting another bull terrier next year as I’ve been without one for four years now. I’m itching to get out raking around with one again as it’s been far too long. Quote Link to post

Stabs 3
I can't really say without seeing her in the flesh mate, but if I had to put my house on it, I'd say she was stafford. I'm overseas now mate. Haven't been home for four years. Quote Link to post
