bigfrank0001 0
Went on a week away and returned this friday, and what a week it wasnt. i go away every year with the men from the family ,uncles farthers and grandparents, cousins, brothers,,the whole lot with great exspectations,, the ten hour drive up there drags because you cant wait to see hundreds of rabbits running round playing in the sun waiting to be picked up, deer grazing waiting to be stalked,, weve had permision on land up there for over ten years now coming home with hundreds of rabbits, phesants by the brace, and nine deer last year, but this year was gutting,a really bad winter shatterd our week away, 30 rabbits all week 19 on the lamp, two phesants as the keepers needed the birds so didnt let us shoot, and the old man took one deer, the land we had was dead nothing at all, there where deer grazing and walking in the clear all over exept where we had permissin (typical). so i sat and watched about 15 dvds over the last four days as the snow and shivering wind put a bleak week into dismare lol  so im looking for a little somthing differant next year the ten hour drive dosnt seem that great lol of anyone does somthing simalar or even knows of land with a cottage attatched for a fellas week away , please let me know .....cheers for reading ,i needed to share my pain Quote Link to post
