websid 3 Posted October 24, 2010 Report Share Posted October 24, 2010 Out with the decoys this afternoon and doing pretty well, we were on private land about 150 yards away from the public foot path , it was quite an active day with plenty of birds coming in. Two young lands about 12 yrs old decide decided to walk directly in front of the hide. We explained to them that they were on private land and should not be walking in front of people who are shooting, for their own safety. Off they went and that was that, 20 minutes later they were back and asked us if they could watch us shooting. At this point they were told “NO, now get off the land before we report you for trespassâ€. They got as far as the public footpath and gave us mouth full of verbal. We took no notice of the gobby little oiks and carried on shooting, anyway about 30 minutes later we noticed four people dressed in dark clothing coming towards us, as they got closer towards us they began shouting “ STAND DOWN!!!!- DROP YOUR WEAPONS- RAISE YOUR HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEADS AND WALK TOWARDS US- NOW STOP!!!! STAND STILL!!! Four armed police with MP5s then searched us at gun point. We produced all the relevant documents to confirm that everything was above board then had a laugh with them about what had been reported. The two young gobby oiks had told their parents that we had been shooting at them. I know the police have to respond to reports of this nature but it was bloody scary looking down the barrels of four MP5s :sick: . Quote Link to post Share on other sites
