Lab 10,979
I have it on good authority that HUGE forests and most of the woodlands owned by the Forestry Commission have ALREADY been sold - all sneaky quiet and underhand I really don't know what to make of this world, and this government anymore, it makes me wonder what priorities are .... And then to find out Rooney is on £250,000 a week is just taking the p*** OTC The Forestry Commision have already sold off the wood that surrounds me about 10 years ago. Around 800 acres of wood that was once a cracking little shooting syndicate now just going to pot. No maintenance to the roads and thinning sections of wood just for the rest to blow over in the next strong wind.........very sad. Word there is to be a wind farm coming soon so looks like it could have been a compensation claim all along...
gonetoearth 5,144
Nothing will change ,they will alway look good. only the ownership detail change. All uk woodland is protected, by sporting rights, heratage, or woodland commision. Very few will change,in looks ofr size. i think can only improve. Would you neglect you property like last governmemt did ?? No, i no think so.If you spend many £££££ you will take care of land, home, forest i think. Many woodland around here own private, they are very clean well kept , & most encourage wildlife to thrive, by food, & good fencing , & prune. No be fooled you can do what you wish , becas you buy "No, i no think so.If you spend many £££££ you will take care of land, home, forest i think. Many woodland around here own private, they are very clean well kept" quickly followed by private land signs all over the place.these forests belong to the people of this country and no government has the right to sell them off for short term gain.of course that won't stop them from doing it,but once its gone its gone forever.makes me sick. Farmers ,estate owner & goverments has been selling all land /forest/wood for years, to build more houses for the people the great uk welcome.More road for car to drive, many more land disapear. On such small Island, i no suprise if it sink under the weight !! 70+ million people. All need place to live, drive & work. yeah and we built a channel tunnel so get in your travant head south go through the tunnel and dont come back
foxfan 479
Found this reply from a member of the public, in response to a newspaper article on this subject. In light of the fact that just about everything is being sold off it Sums up the position quite accurately imo. "The British Government is about to sell off over half of all UK Forests that are currently under the control of the Forestry Commission to private corporations as the asset-stripping of the UK is begun on behalf of the International Monetary Fund and the Big Six Beast Banks. During the IMF Riots in Greece, the Greek government was busy selling off several islands to the same bankers who deliberately bankrupted Greece in the first place, so it comes as no surprise that similar things are being done here. What does come as a surprise is that this IMF Fire-Sale is occurring even before the British people have had their IMF Austerity Riots. Rioting in the streets will not do any good for us as the IMF, World Bank, and United Nations are hell-bent on bankrupting the people so that we will not be able to effectively resist the One World Government being put in place for the benefit of the Globalist Elites and the Mega-Corporations. The government wants us to riot so that they can crack down hard on us and then use the riots as an excuse to implement even more of the New World Order Control Grid around us. This is not just about preventing our criminal government from selling the national silver, this is also about our civil liberties as the deliberate economic collapse gathers pace in order to put people into poverty and under more government control. This is a fight against neo-feudalism, a fight for our very lives."
