thinking of swaping

Hi all, i've got a HW100kt .177 and really like it but am thinking of a change I'm one for having a change, in the last 2 years i've had a B.S.A. lightning, A.A. 400 & 410, Daystate mk3, Radid mk1 and my ultimate gun which i always wanted my HW100kt Not that i don't like any of the above but i always wanted the HW100 and worked up to getting it. Now i've had it a while i fancy something else I've been looking at the R10 or maybe a Kub but wanted to know peoples opinions of these guns are, also i'm not a great lover of .22 but would mabe consider .20, the best of both worlds ? thanks in advance

All the rifles that you have mentioned above are good to great rifles in their own right mate.

 

The HW100KT is a super rifle and will take some beating.

 

Im not sure what you are looking for mate as all the above rifles bar maybe 1 will do all required from 5 to 55 metres if your shooting is up to it.

 

The r10 is a very nice rifle but no better than the HW100KT in terms of accuracy.

 

I like my r10 better than my old HW100KT because it fits my body better and feels better in the shoulder.

 

The HW100KT is deadly accurate and so well recommended.

shame i havent got an r10 fella because i really do fancy an hw100kt in 177 anall!! i have an s410 at the moment in .22, still enjoying it but when the times right i will be getting myself a 100kt.. ATB mate

Cheers Zini, i know what you mean about the rifle fitting. I really liked my Daystate tech wise and how quiet it was but the balance was just not quite there. I also liked the A.A. 410 but always had my heart set on the HW100 so nothing i had would compare untill i had that gun A little short sighted maybe I agree the HW100 is deadly in the right hands without doubt, but is it really that much better than the rest ? I never had any trouble with any of the others so like i said was wondering about R10. I have looked at them and IMO they are good looking guns I heard when they first came out they had a few issues with the magazine not loading properly but all seems to be ironed out now. Also the greater shot capacity is swying it for me. I have never run out of air but when i take my son with me he does like to pull the trigger alot ( On targets )

I would consider going back to one of the afore mention guns but i'm not one for going back !!

I forgot to add i do alot of stalking / walking so needs to be comfy, i have considered an A.A.s200 multishot but it's a 410 in a smaller body imo.

i think your always looking for some thing better,well your not going to find it!!

you have to give a rifle a chance to siut you and i dont think you have

 

have you an option of trying before buying in your area?

 

dont know much on the kub,but the R10 is a nice rifle too! but i feel you will get one and then in a couple of months look for some thing better,it sounds like your on a quest!!!!

Indeed Davy, no offense taken mate Not looking for something better, just something that suits me abit more. I do like my HW100 but i know there is a gun out there that i will fall in love with, and know its a keeper . The others have been stepping stones to the Hw100. I didn't really give the others a chance to grow on me as i always aimed for the HW100

 

I don't think the shops do a try before you buy, i'll look into it, cheers for the idea

Cripes! You've had a few belters mate! I, like Si, love my R10 to pieces, and you could definitely do worse than one of those. I've had a look at a few of the Prestige KUB rifles, but not fired one- they feel lovely and look to be incredibly well made. No shortage of options!
