joel222 65
Just as i was coming in with the dogs i saw a ferret on the footpath ahead so i put the dogs in and went back out, crouched down and held out my hand and this ferret came straight to me so i picked it up and it's now in my spare hutch. Im aware that it must belong to someone and if i hear of some missing a ferret i will return it. On the other hand, if nobody claims it, it is a welcome addition to my team. The two ferrets i have already got are jills and this is a hob, is it ok to house them together throughout the year and would you just stick it straight in with the other two? Quote Link to post

Gin 498
You can't house them together all year, or you will have loads of kits very soon, as the jills come into season. As was said, keep seperate till you can be sure the hob is free from problems. Loads of info on this site. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ferreter/ferretrescues.htm Edited October 23, 2010 by Gin Quote Link to post

The one 8,494
If your happy with its condition put it in with yours the breeding seasons past so they should be okay but inless its got a scar from its testes up to its belly your going to have to look at housing it elsewhere from your jills next breeding season .
