FIREWORKS....

Recommended Posts

well had a rubbish nights sleep thanks to the wee sh1ts setting of the fireworks and the dogs going mad! Anyone any tips on how to settle the dogs or to make them more calm? i swear if i catch the wee buggers setting them off they will be getting a boot up the backside its still another fortnight away then the shops will sell them half price for a fortnight after! i cant have a full month of this.

sorry for going on abit!

Setting up a cage covered in blankets so the dog feels snug, put a radio on really loud to drown out the noise, and if needs be a few drops of rescue remedy on a piece of meat should settle them down.

My 3 are all fine with fireworks, but a good friend of mine has a setter bitch that literally goes insane, destroys anything in its way, including smashing its face to bits on a glass door. She now has sedatives from the vet to completely knock the dog out.
