I know i have promised some more the young hunters competitions but i have been really busy . So in the meantime for the young ones with it being half term i will do a quick pumpkin competition only two rules

1 under 16 and 2 it must have a notice on it saying thl pumpkin competition so we don't get any down loads or ones made before . Just a bit of fun for the youngsters i will give a prize for the best under 12 and best over 12 . Good luck Tracey G

under 12 year old,a pumpkin and a sharp knife

At school i run a cookery club with just me and 8 seven to eight year olds we bake cook use knifes ect . Its surprising what a child can do with a little bit of help and adult supervision . How else are they going to learn . My daughter is 12 and she can fully gut and skin a rabbit . give them a chance and children will surprise you

Obviously a child will want some parental supervision if using a knife to carve a face on a pumpkin........that's just common sense really...........we don't want any accidents do we.

Great idea for a competition Tracey.....................Can't wait to see the entries.......So come on guys and gals get those entries in and good luck.

Rolfe.
