hey all, bit of quick background, decided august time that i would like to pursue the art of airgunning, read total airgun hunting, trolled the net in particular this site and read all the magazines then i decided to take the plunge but unfortuntely for me i live in norhern ireland and a need a f.a.c! now my question being firstly are there any N.I airgunners on here who could advise me on filling out my fac and are you more likely as an airgunner to get it than say a shotgun/rifle? bit of a pain really tbh but am eager and have permission on two small farms already! thanks

i my self cant help you to much on this one, apart from be as honest as you can when filling the form out, as it WILL all be checked up on. i would have thought and it is just a though that you will better off going for the airrifle first then mayb shottie or bullets a little later on down the line.

 

im shure there will be some one from your area along soon that will be able to help you further.

We do have members on here from N.I.

 

I've seen the application form a good while back; fill it in as best and as truthfully as you can and mention that you already have the land available to shoot vermin.

Can't see them refusing it for you

do you know how to zero your gun? just wondering iv started a website to try help new people to airgunning, still needs ALOT of work but its got a few things, one of which is zeroing the scope http://airgun-help.webs.com/ if it hits off i will give it a unique domain name, but untill then it will have the .webs. bit in it, feedback would be good
