YES MATE ,

PAD MARKS ....... NOT SURE WHEATHER ITS A LOCAL TERM BUT ...... A TERM WE USE LOCALLY TO DESCRIBE THE FLATTENED FOOT MARKS IN MUD OF ANY ANIMAL

WHERE AN ANIMAL HAS " PADDED " [ WALKED ] ALONG ... ESPECIALLY IN A " SMOOT "

INCIDENTLY THE HARE IS CALLED A " KATIE " AROUND HERE .......

AND BELIVE IT OR NOT ....... I CAUGHT ONE IN MY " GANZIE " ONE DAY !

ALSO LEEVIEW ,...... I DIDNT MEAN TO IMPLY YOU HAD LITTLE KNOWLEDGE ...... JUST THAT IF ANYONE IS GOING TO BE SUCCESSFUL GATE NETTING FROM GREENHORNS UP WITHOUT DOING MUCH PREPERATION IT WILL BE A DRYSTONE WALLED AREA THAT WILL " PROVIDE " THE CATCH ....

IT KINDA HEMS THEM IN

ALL THE BEST
