So was board on Monday night so charged up the hw100 and went for a wee look.got in the jeep and got to were I was going turned on the lamp and sitting was 3 hares took aim at one pulled the trigger and woosh watched the pellet fly stight down the lamp and crack the hare clean in the head.(1down)one of the other hares took off but the other stood up on it's rear legs so I pulled the rifle up to the shoulder and took aim took a deep breath and let it out adjusted my aim and pulled the trigger watch the pellet fly down the red filter once again and staight in to the chest of hare (number two).so had a shine of the lamp across the rest of the feild and saw hare number three making it's way for the top gate so turned the jeep on and drove up stoped the jeep and put the lamp on and about 45 yards out was the hare.took aim and fired the pellet dropped just short so took aim again at one mil dot down.pulled the trigger the wisper of the pellet leaving the crack the pellet bedding in to the head of here (number 3).was well chuffed the way the night went so thought I would call it a night. So started to drive home.started to drive home then the next thing hare number 4 ran straight across the jeep and under a fence it ran about 30 yards in to the field and stoped I reversed the jeep so I could see it.took the gun out the slip put the mag in pulled the leaver back and cocked it.cood just see the back of it's head sticking over it's back so took aim just between it's ears and pulled the trigger then that great sounding thump again and a twitch of the hares legs.that was hare number 4 in the bag.all in all a good night out and first time I have took 3 hares in one feild.
