INFO ON SAK MODERATOR

ive been told yes and no to this.can i fire high velocity rounds through my new SAK moderator,i know it doesnt silence them i just want to know

Well i've got a sak moderator on my .17hmr so i should say yes mate you can

Yes they obviously won't get rid of the rifle crack but like above I have a SAK on my .17 HMR

some told me it wrecks them but im not sure,dont see how it can as the bullet passes through and the crack from a high velocity round happens after the round leaves the barrel as the bullet passes the sound barrier

The bullet actually breaks the speed of sound in the barrel but because it is enclosed it makes the sound directional thus you only hear it as part of the rifle report moderators are damaged by flame cutting the larger amount of powder in a hv means that a flame exits the barrel and cuts cheap/poorly designed mods saks do not have this problem and are safe to use with hv
