how too train a patterdale to go to earth

hello can anyone help me av got a paterdale n ii want her too go too ground but shes neva seen a fox before how wud i go bout getin her keen to go to ground

shes only bout 1 n half old

well id let her rag a couple then id show her an active fox earth when shes mentally and physically ready and then the rest is up to her atb bud

take her out digging with an experenced dog and just have her on the couplings let her watch. then after show her the dead fox and see what she makes of it, as foxdigger13 sed most of it is upto her

just maybe learn a feww things about the whole digging scene its not as easy as getting your dog to ground and dig a hole to get her out with the quarry, not a rant mate just abit more experience maybe 1st ? its horrible not seeing a dog again after going to ground

bullshit its good for every dog to watch and learn 1st !!! have a dog there took him out last week and wouldnt travelle .... took him out yesterday and dug a fox with the experienced dog let him watch then took him out thismorning and the dog went to ground and worked well ..
