Aye we did a pile of shredding on tuesday and filled the ferret hutches right up its been frosty ever since ,Its just bulky to get rid of so i dont normally use it

a up mate i allways use shredded paper for my ferrets and they are fine,iv just put some old wooly hats in there aswell and they have kicked some of the paper out so i dont put alot in any more but paper will b just fine mate

should mever use shreaded paper for bedding as it draws the wet in and stays that way and on very cold wet morning put your hand in ther not were the ferrets are sleeping some were eles and feel it with me its a no no quilt or wooly hats or pack with straw makes the best for me

I use 50/50 cross cut shreaded paper and wood shavings, and all my ferrets are sound

I use shreded paper shavings and old joging botums and extra ferrets nothing keeps them warm than the big useless knobby the companion hob so the rescued pet ferret that wouldn't fit in a barrel does have a use after all .
