heart of wales 19
nice dog mate how tall is she and what does she weigh when fit do u have any pics on from side on mate cheers hope litter turns out good mate keep me updated She is a very athletic build strong boned not to heavy she probably weighs about 40 kilos, superb nose very quick strike. When people say about gsd not being very quick I would dispute that I have a male stud GSD who is 59 kilos and he regulary catches rabbits on the lamp and foxes pre the ban he has learned to read now and is a reformed character Here are the pups today at ten days old Quote Link to post
Guest furryferter
I think you might find that they will take more to the ghd side than the greyhound by using a gsd bitch Quote Link to post
COMPO 54
i knew a bloke who had a gsd x grey, it was very hyperactive and chewed the inside of his car as well as a few other nuisance things , however it worked OK and was a good rabbiting and shooting dog, it looked very GSD like and the dam was a greyhound he was happy enough with his, the litter shown look very good, is the dam worked on the farm? Sometimes My other Gsd is used more but to be honest I prefer to keep them for security at night ,they are very easy to train highly inteligent. We also have four beardie collies and five border collies who we use for the sheep I try not to work the sheepdogs on rabbit only sheep as they beggar off hunting when you want them to work sheep and when you got 2500 sheep the need to be concentrating on them especially when we are on open hill where we sometimes will encounter a hare. Here is one of her pups from a previous litter this is a straight GSD all this litter turned out to be exellent at security work. Quote Link to post
