I've made the same point elsewhere on here and on another forum mate. Between overpaid, hyped up players, mass media hype, foreign billionaire owners swanning in and out..

 

 

It's only good for plastic school kid fans who want to support a different team every year these days. My mates kids have got Man Utd, Liverpool & Chelsea shirts and change their minds depending on who's playing the best at any given time. They come home from school and tell their parents they've changed their team because their mates have.. We used to take the piss out of the odd kid like when I was in school, these days it's deemed acceptable amongst the youngsters..
