Phantom 631
Anyone up for the challenge? Si Yep Who's gonna trust me enough to hold my Sony ericson next to the target on video mode? Saying that I could try and nick the Sony Camcorder from the wife, she's only used it once to film me para-sailing and that was about 5 years ago Tony Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Just take it Tony buddy. You will need it to film yourself shooting later on down at Andy's and carls. Si Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
I tried doing this myself today at dinner time . What a load of crap i was The wind was only blowing slightly but at that range enough to send the pellets all over the shop . It ended up about 4 inches edge to edge, so i ripped it up and ill wait to a calm day. Its not going to be as easy as some may think to get a really tight group at 50 yards. Si Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
It deffinatly wont be easy with this uk weather unless you can gain access to a large indoor area, it is still possible outside though but im sure they could be a bit of cheating on the go with no one about to referee each perticular shooter. For instance i could shoot 100 pellets in 5 shot groups then all i would have to do is pick the best grouping out.. . Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
You are allowed to do that Lady. Thats the whole point. You dont post your group until you are happy with it. Si Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
Well that makes it even easier as im sure out of a few hundred 5 shot groupings one or two of them would be worthy of an olympic gold medal, never mind a THL trophy . Quote Link to post

Si hi si rule 12 12. Only one group per member is aloud. im confused now!! surely it has to done in one recording, recording several bits of footage then picking the best.im not to keen on that! plus you will have to make sure its under 10 minutes . i think yeah practice then film when ya ready this way you will see some good groups if ya pick the right day & conditions. me tinks i may!! take a miss on this one if i have another meet next year i think this will be a good event to compete in among the members who turn up regards davy Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi davy, Sorry pal i probably didnt make it clear. You can film how many groups you want in your own time, but you are not allowed to post more than one of them on here. So if you film 50 5 shot groups one weekend and only 1 is good thats the one you post on the thread. once you have done it thats your turn up and your not allowed to post any more. Yes the meet sounds like a good place to do this then pal so we dont need to film anything as everyone that turns up will be there to see that no cheating is going on. Everyone agree?
