HI GUYS JUST READING NOV EDITION SPORTING RIFLE.. SAW AD FOR ND3 LASER SUPPOSED TO SEE UR TARGET UP TO 250 YDS IT SAYS NO NEED FOR NIGHTVISION EASILY ATTACHES TO YOUR SCOPE... ANY I HAV INFO ON THIS OR USED IT..WOULD IT BE SUITABLE FOR CENTREFIRE RIFLE...SOUNDS 2 GOOD 2 BE TRUE.. :gunsmilie:

you could see you target at 250 yards if you stick a green filter on your lamp also:whistling: :whistling: .

 

I suppose saying no need for nightvision is a true statement as it is the same as saying using a lamp means no need for nightvision:thumbs:

Check out this clip on you tube gives a good over view of the laser lamp. Think they are going for around £300.00 which is a hell of a lot cheaper then other night vision products, then again it's really more comparable with a lamp so maybe more expensive dependant on your view......

these units are far to over priced at around 300 quid a pop and as for replacement for night vision total bullshit as these emit a green light which can be seen by the naked eye :icon_eek: so if you can see it so can ya quarry. night vision works on ifra red which is invisable to the naked eye hence why you need a illuminater & intesifier or camera to see infrared. same as above really no different to a lamp and green filter plus a lamp will go beyond 250 yrds should you need it .

That's right willum, also can you imagine scanning a large field with a beam that small? it'd take ages and if it's on top of the scope your arms would soon be knackered!
