catapult 0 Posted October 18, 2010 Report Share Posted October 18, 2010 hi, is there anyone who knows about dogs as i normally keep bitches,i have a 18mth old dog who just doesnt seem two be interested in anything ,apart from pissing up every tree and sniffing .he will chase ,but he stop and piss or sniff.would it help if i got the dog neutered.i heard they get fat ,and would it make him less game,not that hes very game anyway.hes from good lines,havent owned him from pup,only had him 4 weeks,he lovely looking dog ,big and strong like wanted ,also wanted to know ,if i breed him with a very game bitch ,would puppies take after the bitch or would they be like him,or would i have a mixture.or does anyone know how to make him a bit gamer,he should be a single handed dog.his parents were single handed dogs and very game.hes was a promising dog at 6 mths,then he was kenneled from 6mths-18mths,and only exercised.thanks. fresh earth 47 Posted October 18, 2010 Report Share Posted October 18, 2010 If its stopping mid chase to take a lash it would be left lay beside a tree im afraid as its clearly not interested never once in all my life seen any running dog or terrier that has stopped running its quarry for a piss give it something it cant not catch let it hold rabbits in the net even or take it for a few rats or tie it up and let it watch a dig id try that and if he didnt liven up id have it pts im afraid and i would deff not cover any bitch with it if.
