J Darcy 5,871
Good luck with her. 4/4 is a great tally for a novice lamp dog. My own small-brained mongrel missed his first 8 rabbits on the lamp! So your youngsters doing great. Quote Link to post

chloejinnie 0
thanks everyone. shes not very good at retriving them and tends to hunt up the rest of the field before i get her back, so think about getting her retreiving better before taking her out again, dad said she wont forget what shes already done.. anyone have any advise? stormyboy 1,352
definitely work on her retrieve NOW. Each rabbit she doesnt retrieve reinforces the habit (non retrieving) and it will be a lot harder to teach later, and she will be an unreliable retriever at best. A bit of time spent now will make a big difference. Very nice bitch BTW. Edited October 23, 2010 by stormyboy Quote Link to post
