jarv5116 57
hi all, just wondred how many of you actually use a locator when ferreting, if not what do you do. I do now, but never use to bother with locator few years ago and sometimes still dont bother. Its just same, except if ur ferret catches the rabbit then you may have to wait bit time on it coming out! I was out this morning caught dozen rabbits not using locator still back in house for 12 in afternoon! I find if not using locator not to push the burrows! Quote Link to post
The one 8,481
Diffence between ferreting for fun and pest control could be a locator? its okay going out getting a few rabbits and coming away .If your getting paid for rabbit control you have to dig them out make sure there dead and the burrows empty which is what the loctors made for cant see a farmer shelling out hard cash and a hour after your away rabbits start appearing out of burrows that you thought your ferret had killed .
