My HW100 is losing air ?

Recommended Posts

Noticed yesterday after not using my gun for 3 days the cylinder gauge is almost on empty. I took the cylinder off today and have placed a balloon over each end of the cylinder to check both the threaded end and the quick fill end. Neither balloon has any change. So now thinking its somewhere else. Would i be best to send it off to Hull cartridges or is it not to tricky to change the o rings. That is if thats were its leaking from. Has anyone had the same trouble or a possible cure. Cheers all.

if found that its a common place for hw100's to leak is were the hammer section bolts on ;)

the bits outlined are the only bits with seals in the rifle mate and the little outline is the bit im talking about ;)

firly easy if u know how!

1- take mech out of stock

2- remove trigger unit 2x allen bolts

3- undo the 2 allen bolts holding the hammer/cocking unit to the air section

4- check/listen for leaks etc

5- if cant hear out and u feel confident to continue UNDO BOTTLE!!! then relise preassure out of chamber by putting hammer/cocking section agains it and shooting just to be sure ;)

6- then undo hammer valve section! 2x allen bolts (circled section in pic)

7- take out insides but make sure u know order they go in or refair to the pic i sent ;)

8- check all seals etc and replace any old or warn seals or just replace for added benifit ;)

9- once all done reassemble in reverse and should be ok!

but DONT!!!! tutch the regulator! as it needs setting to a manufacturers setting and u cant unless u eather mark it and count threads or make ur own reg preassure guage like i did to get it spot on ;)

IF U DONT FEEL CONFIDENT ENOUGTH GET SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR U OR SEND IT TO HULL CARTRIDGES ;)
