Some councils do not permit you to keep livestock animals but ferrets are not livestock,,they are pets so you can build away to your hearts content, without permission. ATB Quote Link to post

As for the cages , they're wooden temporary structures so unless you go over board and build something the size of Big Ben you shouldn't have any probs ATB Quote Link to post
