Tonkin 0
Hi guy's my Jack ripped his toe nail clean out today chasing a fu@@ing cat round the garden. There is nothing of the nail left just a small red hole at end of toe. It bled for a bit but nothing too much, he's licking it a bit but wound is clean. Any advice greatly welcomed, cant really handle a vets bill at the mo. Thanks very much. Tonkin Edited October 16, 2010 by Tonkin Quote Link to post

runforyourlife 361
Hiya mate, it should be ok, dont worry to much about it. Just watch it for getting infected, obviously, lol.. Dont have him out running for a week or so, let it heal. Just road walk it... It will heal fast. And its up to you if you want to keep it straped up but i personnally would let the air get to it, heals far quicker... Atb Russ... Quote Link to post
bri1970 22
as has been said, keep the wound clean and just road walk the dog.in my experience it will take much longer than a week before any running.running the dog to earlier will just prolong the healing process. Quote Link to post
