Ripped Toe Nail

Recommended Posts

Hi guy's my Jack ripped his toe nail clean out today chasing a fu@@ing cat round the garden. There is nothing of the nail left just a small red hole at end of toe. It bled for a bit but nothing too much, he's licking it a bit but wound is clean. Any advice greatly welcomed, cant really handle a vets bill at the mo. Thanks very much. Tonkin :)

You should have put shoes on your son Jack when hes playing in the garden,he sounds like a supple young lad but use savlon instead of him licking it,as for the cat....... :gunsmilie:

Hiya mate, it should be ok, dont worry to much about it. Just watch it for getting infected, obviously, lol.. Dont have him out running for a week or so, let it heal. Just road walk it... It will heal fast. And its up to you if you want to keep it straped up but i personnally would let the air get to it, heals far quicker...
