I've been stuck in bassingbourn barracks for 3 weeks now, its good, but theres not a breeze of wind or a cloudy night goes by without me wishing i was lamping. Being used to lamping 4+ night a week, its culture shock on its own. Best ive got is a couple of darcy books which i've read front to cover back to front. 4 more weeks till i can get home for a weekend an a nights lamping. so lads n lasses keep me going, hows everyone getting on? Any good nights for me to read about?

Absolutely shite in all honesty, started off really well, was just getting back into the swing of things and my bitch slashes her tendons in a back foot, off for about 3 months at least, took my older retired bitch out for a spin or two and i have to rest her for a week after each session, took my 11 month old pup out on the lamp for the first time and she can't run for shite and yaps in frustration and i wasn't expecting anything different really as she ruptured her cruciate knee ligament as a pup and has never ran the same again, if anyone has more bad luck than that fire away!!

As for me its been steady going for a start of a season,im bringing two of my pups on at the moment so its taking most of my nights up but am bringing out the big guns next week when this moon does one.For the fella that done 124 between two dogs thats pretty good going but to be saying it on here without proof your asking for it mate! There are some experienced dogmen on here and me included know how doubtful that is without proof! but if you did i take my hat off to ya.

Had a great start this season mixed bag , then she knocked herself out on a bloody rabbit fourtheen days ago :wacko: .but i hope she will be back on track soon.
