2 gun 3 tins of pellets

hi lads

well i got a bit bored this afternoon so i decided to do a bit of a short review

basic's were 2 gun hw100 and a bsa s10 both in .22 flavour and 3 tins of pellets AA field at 15.9 grain

FX at 16 grain and rws super h point at 15.4 grain

i started off with the bsa s10 zero'd it at 25mtrs with the 10 fx pellets then 10 aa field

then 10 rws and i was very suprised to see the results all pellets were well grouped however the aa field dropped very slightly and the hollow points were slightly better i zero'd with the fx so not much to say about them

 

then came the hw100 same set up but totally different results with the rws h points pretty crap seems my hw dont like them that much but the aa field and fx pellets were very much par on par with each other

 

now for those new to shooting dont go rushing out and thinking "ive got a s10 or hw100"

so ill buy them same pellets cos as everyone here will tell you whats good in 1 gun iis no good in another so if you have just bought an new gun grab a few tins and give them ago .....

I do like to see people do group tests with different pellets and the same gun and compare them to same pellets same gun

 

My FX group very, very slightly wider than the AAF's down my pipe on the S200, however when I swapped from one to the other, there was about an inch in elevation and similar in windage between the two. Now given the very tiny difference between the two pellets (shape and weight) I was very suprised by the difference. Yet in your gun, they are virtually identical results.

 

Davy did some good pellet/ barrel comparisons too a fair while back

Good to see that both rifles produce some excellent groups there mate.

 

You just can't fault that kind of accuracy.

cheers lads wor kid had the same problem tonight his aaf were grouping all over the shop tonight so i gave him some fx to try pellet on pellet at 25mtrs ..
