well loks like our first frost will be upon this weekend , maybe the touch of cold will switch the pike on whats your view on thebest time of year to start pike fishing !? goin by the past few weeks it has been still quite warm and humid , so im asking when will you be swapping the summer tackle for the pikng gear , ??

Pike have been feeding better for a few weeks too, had 4 on sat afternoon in the space of 30 mins between 4 and 20lb 3oz! Plenty jacks and half decent pike around though. Still plenty weed around but a shallow fished float solves that problem.

more chance waking up to topnotches so called girlfriend than fishing the river kennet as we all know she is a fella.

the canal is club but do have day tickets and the others have free stretches.

Thankfully none and nor do I want any in me !!

Tho I do have to admit to sowing my quality irish seed about quite a bit when I lived in london, them we lasses were easier to pull than any fish I ever caught ;p
